Welcome to my blog. My name is Joanna Willis and I am a child of God, wife, daughter,  sister,  aunt, cousin, granddaughter, social worker, limited licensed professional counselor, a writer and soon to be author.

The purpose of my blog is for you to get to know me, my writing style and receive updates regarding my book project entitled But God, a Testimony Book for Women. Please visit my But God page for further detail on my up and coming book.

I believe God has given me a heart for women. He has blessed me to overcome some tough women’s issues and I believe that He turned my mess into my message. Genesis 50:20 You intended to harm me, But God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.

The purpose of this blog will be to encourage, educate and empower women to be all that they can be in Christ.  Here are examples of topics you will find at my site: testimonies of God’s goodness, relationships, marriage, family, motherhood, being a career woman, relationships, domestic violence, rape, abortion, incest, poverty, finances etc. Please post a comment and subscribe to receive emails regarding my post. Thank you and be blessed.

Revelations 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony.

Sweetie you are a dreamer and naïve with good intentions like all this believer in god.
There is no God why should there be a God and for what? The human beings are nothing special, they are animals among other animals. Open your eyes and look in the world.
Do you know why so many people are believer? It is easier than to think.
Ask yourselfe: why are there the people since 1.5 million years, Christian God only for 2013 years, Islam for 1388 years? Where were they before? All religions are fairy tales of old men for poor and old people!
Where you can find the most violent crime, the most violent death, the most violent scene?
In the states where most believers live in poor countries like Afrika or Afghanistan or Indonesia.
    Think about!
    Take care

Bill thanks for checking out my blog and taking time to comment. I love God and have seen first hand miracles that only he can do and have had my life changed by him. My life is better because of my relationship with God. I have a brain and can think for myself. I choose to believe and live my life for him. I respectfully disagree with u. May God show himself strong in your life so that u two know that hes real!! Take care!

Hi Joanna: I just came across your Blog by accident. Oops… that’s right, there are NO accidents in God. It was by Divine Appointment that I read, “A Little Scandal Never Hurt Anybody”. I am NOT a fan of Scandal nor do I watch it. After looking at a few scenes; I decided Scandal wasn’t for me. However, I did see one episode of “How To Get Away With Murder”. I thought it was good until I saw a homosexual scene. I quickly turned the t.v. And yes, I decided to scratch that show off my list. I agree with you that we should not allow writers to desensitize us into thinking that infidelity is sexy, fornication is harmless fun and homosexuality is an acceptable way of life. The Word of God does teach us otherwise. I will no longer support TV Shows and may I add Movies too; that don’t support my beliefs and lifestyle. As A Christian; Wife, Mother, and Leader; I will guard my eyes, ears and heart. I choose to live my life after the Word NOT the world. I will NOT be conformed to this world. Thank You for your Blog. It was indeed a Blessing and Encouragement. God created you with the Gift of Writing. I will definitely “pin” your Blog and I signed up to receive your email. 🙂 May God continue to Bless You and Keep You and Your Beautiful Family. May His Face Always Shine on You. And May God Give You His Peace!!

May God’s Richest Blessing Be Yours,
    Kathy 🙂
